How Our Creator started making our handmade jews.

Being put on bed rest was a curse and a blessing in disguise. Although I didn't plan to be on workers' compensation, I was working two jobs and going to school in 2018.

At one of my job shifts, my head collided with the elbow of my co-worker. It was unexpected, but it led to a miserable aftermath.

For two months, I had to stay in bed rest. If I were to walk, I would get dizzy and feel a lot more.

After two days at home, I started searching for something to do and knew exactly where to go. I asked a family member to drive me to Walmart, took a wheelchair around the store, and found myself in the craft department.

First, I started looking at cotton, but the texture wasn't good for making a purse. So, I decided to look at acrylic yarn. The yarn I brought was Macaw Style Jumbo Red Heart.

Second, I began examining the fabric section. A black fabric with bright, colorful floral daisies caught my eye. Within seconds, I pictured myself using it for the inside of my purse, also known as lining, and started looking for my first thread, 100% black cotton.

Lastly, I brought an adjustable buckle, purse hook, metal, and D rings.

When I got home, I crocheted and sewed the purse in the dining room while construction was happening in my parents house. It took me a week to perfect the item.

This store will have all the items I have ever made. Some may sell and others may not, but I hope to continue making items for others to treasure.

You can see me make the items on our YouTube shorts!
